Charlie Willett led the way with a clinical hat-trick as Lymington Town thumped Sydenhams Wessex Premier strugglers Petersfield Town 8-1.

Jake King and Steve Walker both helped themselves to doubles in the Sports Ground rout while leading marksman Sam House was also on target as Lymington climbed to third.

Goals from Conor Whiteley and Harry Cooper failed to save Bashley from slipping to a 5-2 defeat at Baffins Milton Rovers.

Hamworthy United went down 2-0 to second-placed Blackfield & Langley at the County Ground, while Brockenhurst were beaten 1-0 by Alresford Town at the Meadens Skoda Arena.

Brockenhurst will tomorrow be looking for an immediate response when they make the trip to Blackfield & Langley in Wessex Premier (7.45pm).
