KEEPER Asmir Begovic believes stepping out at Wembley against Tottenham tomorrow will be a “great experience” for Cherries.

The 30-year-old stopper is in contention to return to Eddie Howe’s matchday squad following international fixtures for Bosnia & Herzegovina against Belgium and Estonia.

With club football now on his agenda, the former Chelsea man is backing Cherries to rise to the occasion at the home of English football.

“You talk about big games and big challenges – that is as big as they come at the moment," said Begovic.

“We will look forward to Spurs at Wembley, in a big occasion. It will be a great experience but we are there to get a good result.

“Part of the Premier League is you get to play in some amazing stadiums and experience many different things, but first and foremost we want to get a good result there.

“That is our aim and that’s what we will try to do.

“If we keep playing like we have been I am sure we can cause Tottenham problems.”

Begovic kept his first Premier League clean sheet since his return to the club in Cherries’ 0-0 draw at home against Leicester City last time out.
