WINGER Ryan Fraser is tipping Cherries to go all the way in the Carabao Cup this season.

Eddie Howe's team booked their place in the last 16 with a 1-0 extra-time win over Brighton, setting up a home tie against Championship outfit Middlesbrough next month.

And 23-year-old Fraser believes the domestic competition provides a perfect platform for Cherries to secure some silverware.

He told the Daily Echo: “We have our goals and where we want to be. We want to win it.

“If you win it, you get into the Europa League, so that is a goal for us.

“We are going to try and go as far as we can.”

Fraser scored in Cherries' 2-1 win over Birmingham during the second round in August.

With Howe making nine changes to his starting line-up against the Seagulls, Fraser insisted whoever was selected in the cup was capable of stepping up to the mark.

“For the lads who don’t normally play the league games, it’s good for them to get a run-out to impress the manager and show the fans what they can do," he added.

“We have a big squad and I think the gaffer knows whoever he plays on a Saturday as well, they can do the job."
