RIVER Smith netted twice as Ringwood registered a 5-1 win over Wessex One rivals Whitchurch United on Saturday.
Lee Vint, Charlie Heggan and Peter Richmond-Cole were also on target as Ringwood recorded their first league win of the season.
Verwood went down 2-0 at Andover New Street, while Christchurch were on the receiving end of a 3-0 defeat at United Services Portsmouth.
Ant Harris netted in New Milton's 1-1 draw at Tadley Calleva with Linnets striker Steve Flynn having a penalty saved in the closing stages.
In Wessex Premier, Lymington chalked up a 1-0 victory at Cowes Sports thanks to Steve Walker's goal.
Sami Makhloufi’s strike was not enough for Poppies as they were beaten 2-1 at home against Newport, while Bashley suffered a 5-0 reverse at the hands of Baffins Milton Rovers.
