GOALKEEPER Asmir Begovic described as “a disappointing afternoon” Cherries’ 2-0 home defeat to Watford.
The 30-year-old stopper was beaten twice in the second half at Vitality Stadium as the Hornets found the net through summer signing Richarlison and former Tottenham man Etienne Capoue.
That left Eddie Howe’s side without a point from their opening two league fixtures of the campaign.
Reacting after the loss, Begovic told the Daily Echo: “We didn't create as much as we had wanted and we were hit by two breaks from them. It was a disappointing afternoon.
“We battled hard, had a couple of chances and half-chances and couldn’t make the most of them.”
He added: “I thought it was an even game with not much in the teams.
“We need to improve overall, performances need to get better.”
