GOALKEEPER Asmir Begovic believes Cherries’ first home league game of the season against Watford will be “as tough as they come”.
The 30-year-old stopper, a £10million summer signing from Chelsea, was part of the Cherries side which fell to a 1-0 defeat at West Brom last Saturday.
Ahmed Hegazi’s first-half header sunk the visitors but the experienced Begovic has faith his team can respond.
Speaking ahead of the clash with the Hornets, who opened their campaign with a 3-3 draw against Liverpool, Begovic told the Daily Echo: “It’s as tough as they come.
“Every game in the Premier League is an absolute battle, a tough game and a tough test for different reasons.
“Watford had a big result against Liverpool and they will take confidence from that.
“We need to improve, fix things we need to fix and be ready for another big test.
"Watford are a physical and strong side so we need to be ready for that but they have quality in different ways, too.
“We will do our best to bounce back.”
