CHERRIES star Harry Arter has been named in the Republic of Ireland squad for World Cup qualifiers against Georgia and Serbia next month.
The Republic meet Georgia in Tbilisi on September 2 before hosting Group D leaders Serbia at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin three days later.
Martin O’Neill’s men are locked on 12 points with Serbia having won three and drawn three of their six games.
Arter, who has featured in two World Cup qualifiers, will be hoping to add to his tally of six caps for his adopted country.
