VITALITY Stadium is set to host England under-21s' opening home game of the European Championship qualifying campaign.
Aidy Boothroyd's troops are due to entertain minnows Latvia on Tuesday, September 5 (7.45pm).
Cherries' ground has never staged an under-21 international fixture, although England women and the men's under-20 and under-19 teams have played at the Dorset venue in recent years.
The Latvia fixture is set to take place four days after the Young Lions begin their Group Four campaign with an away clash against the Netherlands.
Boothroyd will be hoping his side get on the front foot as they attempt to reach the 2019 finals in Italy and San Marino.
At this summer's European Championship, the under-21s reached the semi-finals before losing to Germany on penalties.
Five members of the squad who featured in Poland are eligible to play in two years' time, those being Demarai Gray, Tammy Abraham, Ben Chilwell, Mason Holgate and Angus Gunn.
And Cherries youngsters Lewis Cook and Aaron Ramsdale, who helped England win the Under-20 World Cup and Under-19 European Championship, respectively, could come into contention for under-21s duty.
Tickets for the Latvia game are on sale now and are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for under-18s, students and OAPs.
