FURIOUS Matt Ford pledged changes would be made following Pirates' loss to Swindon tonight.

Poole failed to record a single heat advantage on home shale in the demoralising 56-36 defeat.

Number one Krzysztof Kasprzak, who has received regular criticism this season, managed a paltry three points.

Captain Hans Andersen was the only home rider to score more than six, although James Shanes impressed in bagging five at reserve.

Ford said: "There really can be no excuses for this level of performance.

"We should be a much better side than we demonstrated and all I can say is there will be further changes being made within the week.

"With our very poor run at home of late it has undone all the good work we achieved on the road and that is bitterly disappointing."

Ford was speaking to the club website.
