BOURNEMOUTH'S Chris Tyrrell shot a pair of 75s to finish tied for 16th place in the Be Wiser Insurance PGA in Hampshire Strokeplay event at Aldershot's Army Golf Club.

The Moors Valley professional's first round score left him eight adrift of leader James Ablett and he was unable to make his mark on the leaderboard on the second day, replicating his initial effort to card a total of 150.

Winchester's Dan Seymour – beaten by Adam Hickling in a play-off for last year's title – was crowned champion after shooting 68 on day two, following his opening level par 71.

Hickling was one of three players to finish on terms with Tyrrell, while Ablett slipped to fifth after a second-round five-over-par 76.
