PIRATES are sweating on the fitness of Jack Holder after the Aussie youngster crashed in the SGB Championship tonight.
Holder withdrew from Peterborough's 60-30 defeat at Edinburgh having sustained a knee injury on his second ride.
Peterborough promoter Ged Rathbone said: “Jack was clearly wiped out by Erik Riss, which was one of many questionable refereeing decisions on the night.
“He has injured his knee but we’re hopeful it’s not too bad. We’ll assess him in the morning and make a decision on whether or not he races at Glasgow tomorrow.
“The crash wrote his bike off. I’m sure he’d be grateful if anyone could help him put it back together.”
