BOURNEMOUTH captain Chris Park feels Portsmouth's strengths go far deeper than Aussie all-rounder Fraser Hay.

Lions will have to tame the right-handed batsman and seam bowler if they are to secure victory on the road in tomorrow's Southern Premier League clash (1pm).

The Perth-born 20-year-old made 12 appearances for Hampshire's second string last year and returned to the Ageas Bowl ahead of the current season.

However, Park says Hay is far from the only threat which Bournemouth will have to contend with.

Park told the Daily Echo: "We lost both games to Portsmouth last year and we are fully aware of the dangers of Fraser Hay, who got 150 against us last year.

"He is a very good player. That's not to say they haven't got other danger men as well, one of their batsmen (Jack Marston) got 100 last week.

"So they are not a one-man team by any stretch.

"I would rather concentrate on us. We have lots of areas to improve if we are to get back to where we were at the end of last season.

"It was a good start against Rowledge last weekend and, hopefully, we can put in another good performance."

The Bournemouth line-up shows one change, all-rounder Chris Bollom replacing opening bowler Chrystian Michalowski, who is unavailable.
