GEORGIA Hall recorded a fine 67 to rise to tied-34th on the final day of the Estrella Damm Mediterranean Ladies' Open.

Wimborne-based Hall had been two over for the tournament in Sitges, Spain after following back-to-back level-par rounds with a 73 on Saturday.

But the former Oakmead College pupil stormed back in strong style, sinking six birdies and two bogeys to end on two under at Club De Golf Terramar.

Having banked 2,385 euro for her efforts, Hall dropped one place to fourth in the Ladies' European Tour order of merit after compatriot Florentyna Parker took victory.

Parker saw off Sweden's Anna Nordqvist and home hope Carlota Ciganda in a three-way play-off after the trio finished on 15 under.

Brokenhurst Manor's Liz Young, who recently returned to action having given birth, did not take part in the tournament.

There is now a two-month gap until the next LET event, the Turkish Open, which is due to take place from Monday, June 19 until Wednesday, June 21.

Hall, who leads the Solheim Cup rankings, previously hinted she would use the enforced hiatus to fine-tune her game, with a trip abroad possible depending on the weather in Britain.
