POOLE Town are today set to appeal to the Football Association over competing in the National South play-offs.
The National League decreed Dolphins – who occupy the final play-off spot with two games to go – would not be eligible.
Poole do not have 500 seats under cover at their Black Gold Stadium headquarters, a regulation believed to be over and above FA ground-grading rules.
It is expected that the club's case will be heard at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.
The appeals of Poole's divisional rivals Hungerford Town and National North Darlington – who are in similar situations – are set to be heard on the same day.
