PIRATES riders are primed to compete in a host of leagues across Europe this summer.
Hans Andersen is set to be the busiest of the Poole line-up having taken on three clubs on the continent.
The former Grand Prix star will race for Munkebo in the Danish League and has returned for another season at Lodz in Poland’s second tier.
Andersen will also turn out for Lejonen in Sweden’s Elite League.
Krzysztof Kasprzak is in Gorzow’s Extraleague line-up and will also race in the Speedway European Championship, in which he finished third last year.
Like Kasprzak, youngster Jack Holder is also at a top-tier Polish club, this time Torun, while he has also signed for SGB Championship side Peterborough.
Former Australian champion Brady Kurtz will hope to get plenty of track time with Pila in Poland’s second tier. He is also set to turn out for Region Varde in the Danish League.
Kurtz looks set to clash with Nicolai Klindt given the latter is at Esbjerg, while Klindt has also joined Indianerna in the Swedish top tier.
Pirates vice-captain Kyle Newman will represent Ipswich in the SGB Championship following an off-season move from Plymouth.
Poole reserve James Shanes has no other clubs at present, although he has a wealth of grasstrack and long track commitments.
