POPPIES boosted their Sydenhams Wessex Premier survival hopes after two late goals earned them a draw with fellow strugglers Whitchurch.
Second-half efforts from Luke Walker and Jamie Mansell had seemingly put Whitchurch in control.
But Sami Makhloufi pulled a goal back with the clock ticking down and Patrick Wilson grabbed the equaliser in the second minute of stoppage time.
Hamworthy thumped Amesbury 4-0 thanks to Steve Smith (2) and goals from Connor Phillips and Mark Ford.
Bashley recovered from a goal down to beat AFC Portchester. Alex Baldacchino opened the scoring for the away side but Tony Rolls and Dan Munday made it back-to-back victories for Bash.
Brockenhurst were sunk 4-0 at Fareham by a Simon Woods treble and a Curt Robbins effort, while Lymington lost 2-1 at home to Alresford.
In Wessex One, New Milton twice came from two goals down to record a 5-4 success at Laverstock & Ford. On target for Milton were Kyle Leach, Ash Booker, Ant Harris and Ollie Peckham (2).
Christchurch gained ground on third-place Laverstock after drawing 2-2 at Romsey. Chris Senior put Priory in front and although Romsey hit back to lead with 10 minutes left, Ben Cooper netted the equaliser.
A River Smith hat-trick and a Lee Vint goal allowed Ringwood to triumph 4-1 at Totton & Eling.
