POOLE Town boss Tom Killick wants the Football Association to review its disciplinary rules after Will Spetch earned a two-match ban.
The defender picked up his 10th yellow card of the season against National South rivals Welling seven days ago following a decision disputed by Killick.
The club cannot appeal the caution, a state of affairs which rankles with the Dolphins manager.
Speaking ahead of tomorrow's home clash with Hampton & Richmond, Killick told the Daily Echo: "The referee made a mistake. Even if you had all the evidence you needed, you couldn't appeal a yellow card. I feel that is something to be looked at.
"If you get sent off you can appeal, so if there is an injustice it can be rectified. But with a booking which takes you to 10 yellows, there is nothing which can be done about it. I feel it's a bit of a strange one.
"Will has been a monumental presence and influence alongside Jamie Whisken and that partnership is going to broken up at a vital time."
Killick is hoping Jake Smeeton will be available.
