CHERRIES will need to overcome free-scoring Combined Counties League outfit Hartley Wintney to progress to the final of this season’s Hampshire Senior Cup.
Stephen Purches’ under-21s have surrendered home advantage and will travel to the Hampshire club’s Memorial Playing Fields on March 7 (7.30pm) to take on a team which has hit more than 100 goals this season.
Hartley Wintney have already disposed of Wessex Premier Lymington Town in this year’s competition, while Cherries reached this stage with a 6-0 victory at Gosport Borough.
The other semi-final sees Southern Premier League outfit Basingstoke Town host 2016 beaten finalists Winchester City.
