GEORGIA Hall – one of Europe's most talented young golfers – was among the interested spectators for Cherries' clash with Manchester City on Monday.

The 20-year-old, who lives in Wimborne, is a keen Cherries fan but rarely gets to watch her team due to commitments on the Ladies' European Tour.

However, the Solheim Cup hopeful was present at Vitality Stadium alongside father Wayne, the duo being special guests of Cherries chairman Jeff Mostyn.

Despite witnessing a 2-0 defeat, Hall told the Daily Echo: "It was really good, it was a shame about the score but it was a really fun night.

"Jeff Mostyn was really nice and he thanked me for coming and said it was an honour for me to be there.

"They made us feel really welcome so I'd like to thank the club because I had a lovely time."

Hall has won two titles since turning professional in July 2014, the Strasbourg Open and the Victorian Open.

The former Canford Kid came agonisingly close to her first LET title in Abu Dhabi in November, only to be pipped for top spot by the United States' Beth Allen.
