ELLINGHAM & Ringwood retained their hold on second spot in National Challenge Division Two with a 25-10 win over Havant.
Lily Taylor's try was all that separated the teams at the interval, with Havant drawing level through Samantha White's score shortly after the restart.
The sides then traded tries, Hannah Roberts swiftly replying after Ruth Miles had crossed for Ellingham.
But Ellingham were given a leg up when the visitors' Jess Codrington was sent off for a high tackle on Paige Darvill-White, who kicked the resulting penalty before going over for a try.
Amy Shipley then ran in to give the scoreline some gloss and complete Ellingham's sixth win from their six league outings this season.
