BRADY Kurtz and Jack Holder bagged double-figure hauls in the third round of the Australian Senior Solo Championship at Undera – but missed out on the A final.

The duo, who are both in Pirates' line-up for the upcoming season, totalled 10 points apiece in the penultimate round of the competition.

But Holder was beaten into second place by Max Fricke in the B final while defending champion Kurtz retired in the same race.

Justin Sedgmen, still without a British club for 2017, stormed to victory in the A final.

The 24-year-old has a three-point lead over Wolverhampton's Sam Masters heading into Saturday's decisive final round at Kurri Kurri.

Poole asset Davey Watt, who had led overall prior to events at Undera, is tied for third with Max Fricke, seven points adrift of Sedgmen.
