JORDON Ibe is hoping Cherries’ hard work during the international break will pay off when Hull City visit Vitality Stadium tomorrow.

Eddie Howe’s side have won their last two home games – against West Brom and Everton.

And Ibe says training has been tough going as Cherries prepare to go at Hull with all guns blazing, just as they knocked Everton out of their stride from the first whistle three weeks ago.

“We’ve been doing some intense training, plenty of running and getting fit,” said Ibe.

“It’s been challenging. Every time we have had an international break, we have worked hard so, hopefully, coming back into the Premier League that will help us.”

Ibe, a £15m summer signing from Liverpool, says the supporters deserve a slice of the credit for their team's home form.

“The fans are like a 12th player on the pitch,” said the 20-year-old. “Every game at home, I feel we can win. I feel great there and so do the rest of the team.

“From the first minute, when we’re pressing teams, it must be difficult for sides to play here, with players getting in your face. We need to keep that going and show the same attributes against Hull.”

The newly-promoted Tigers won their opening two games this season under caretaker boss Mike Phelan – tipped to be handed the job permanently – but have taken just one point from five subsequent fixtures.

"It will be a difficult game but playing at home is a positive so, hopefully, we can get the three points," added Ibe. "I’ve not watched them but every team in the Premier League can win games."

Ibe was speaking to the club website.
