CHRIS Holder and Brady Kurtz helped Australia into the Speedway World Cup final – but former Pirates star Jason Doyle took top billing.
Doyle blasted to a 15-point maximum last night as the boys from Down Under won a thrilling race-off at the expense of Denmark at Belle Vue.
The meeting came down to the final heat with Doyle securing victory ahead of Russia's Emil Sayfutdinov, with Niels-Kristian Iversen third.
Poole star Holder banked nine points from five rides while under-21 rider Kurtz managed six from four after Max Fricke withdrew.
The Aussies join Great Britain, Poland and Sweden in tonight's final, also at the National Speedway Stadium.
Result: Australia 44, Denmark, Russia 32, United States 9.
