CRYSTAL Palace boss Alan Pardew praised Cherries for the pressure they inflicted on his under-fire side but insisted: “We were unlucky to lose.”
Pardew saw Eddie Howe’s men battle back from behind to claim a 2-1 win at Selhurst Park in a high-tempo clash settled by goals from Marc Pugh and Benik Afobe.
“I thought we lacked a bit of composure and missed Yohan (Cabaye) at times, it was a frantic game,” said Pardew.
“There was commitment from both sides. Bournemouth really worked hard and put us under a lot of pressure but we have to play with that sometimes.
“We probably didn’t get that right at times. Having said that, I thought we were a bit unlucky to lose, we had some good chances and the two they had went in. That’s the run we’re on at the moment.
“It was one of those nights that you have to accept and move on.”
