GEORGIA Hall's hopes of making the cut at the Scottish Open are in the balance after she endured a rough back nine today.

The Bournemouth professional, 19, dropped five shots in the last six holes at Dundonald Links, which included a double bogey at the 15th.

That left the former Curtis Cup star on five-over-par and with work to do if she is to compete in Sunday's final day.

Hall started off in disappointing fashion as she dropped two shots at the par-four first. But the teenager rallied with gains at the fifth and ninth, albeit with a bogey in between.

One-over heading to the 13th tee, the teenager dropped four shots in three holes before making a birdie at the par-four 16th.

She finished with a bogey on 18 and a score of 77.

Elsewhere, Brokenhurst Manor's Liz Young fared better with a two-over 74.

Young is due off at midday tomorrow while Hall will tee it up shortly after at 12.20pm.

The top three in the field are set to earn automatic entry to next weekend's British Open.

Hall, Young and Parkstone amateur Sophie Keech are due to play in final qualifying on Monday.
