CHERRIES boss Eddie Howe could be in line to collect another accolade at the League Managers’ Association annual awards dinner tonight.

Howe will be in attendance when managers from all four divisions gather for the prestigious event which is being held at Old Billingsgate in London.

League Managers’ Association members have cast their votes for their manager of the year and Howe could be in contention following his exploits with Cherries.

The 37-year-old piloted Cherries into the Premier League for their first time in their history, the club’s third promotion in five years under him.

Cherries clinched the Championship title and sealed their place in the top flight following a dramatic final day when they pipped Watford to the trophy.

Howe was named Football League manager of the decade at the 2015 Football League awards ceremony in April.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the awards, the league chose to recognise 11 outstanding players and one manager who had excelled over the past 10 years with Howe picking up the boss award.
