BURNLEY full-back Kieran Trippier is the latest player to be linked to Cherries via the national media.

The Daily Mail reports boss Eddie Howe is keen on a move for the forward-thinking defender, who he signed for during his spell in charge at Turf Moor.

Trippier was signed initially on loan from Manchester City where he progressed through the youth ranks from the age of nine. The Mail also reports that he has a £3.5million release clause in his contract.

Liverpool striker Rickie Lambert, Birmingham winger Demarai Gray, Everton centre-half Sylvain Distin and Reading’s Jem Karacan are among those already linked with Cherries since promotion to the Premier League.
