DAVE Huggins has laughed off claims that Oakmeadians have the "best pack in Dorset".

Huggins' Wimborne host the Meyrick Park side in Southern Counties South on Saturday (2.30pm) with the All Blacks skipper promising a return to form after last weekend's 16-0 defeat at Sherborne.

The Leigh Park chief was left to confess that his side "just didn't turn up" - before checking the results list and finding that Oaks had done a 66-8 demolition job on basement boys Cooper Avon Tyres.

But Huggins insists his troops will be looking to get back on track tomorrow against an Oaks outfit buoyant from four league wins on the spin - and says claims made in Wednesday's Echo by Meyrick skipper Jack Hennings will only spur his side on further.

Huggins said: "I saw the story in the Echo with Oaks saying they had the best pack in Dorset and it made me chuckle. I work with some of the Bournemouth players and they laughed even louder!

"We'll just play the same way we did earlier in the season when we beat them at their place.

"It's always a really tight game with Oaks because they up their game and so do we."

Wimborne welcome back Chris Hicks after the influential number eight missed the trip to Sherborne.
