POOLE Pirates reserve Kyle Newman put on a solid show for England at the Ben Fund Bonanza at Swindon today.
The Wimborne Road charger, a late replacement for Peterborough star Adam Roynon, scored six of his country's 20 points at Blunsdon.
King's Lynn rider Rory Schlein and Nick Morris both racked up 10 points as Australia charged to victory.
Newman then finished third in heat three of the individual event with Aussie Nick Morris winning the final.
