JAYDEN Stockley has been given the green light to line up in Cherries’ Final Third Development League clash against his former loan club Cambridge United tomorrow.
Stockley’s stay at the Abbey Stadium was cancelled by mutual agreement last month after the striker had scored twice in four games for the League Two outfit in August.
However, as Stockley had been signed on a standard loan until January, Cherries needed approval from the Football League for him to play in sanctioned competitions.
And while he is not permitted to feature for the first team until his loan officially ends at the start of the new year, Stockley has been cleared to turn out in development games.
Midfielder Shaun MacDonald could also have a run-out, with Cherries hosting Cambridge on the 3G pitch at Canford Arena (1pm kick-off).
Goalkeeper Jacob Rinne, a 21-year-old Swedish under-21 and under-19 international who is having a trial with Cherries, could also feature providing the club can get international clearance.
Supporters are welcome to attend the match and are invited to use the catering facilities at Hamworthy Club on Magna Road before and after the game.
Cherries: (from) Holmes, Muleba, McCarthy, Kaye, Buckley, Matthews, Wakefield, MacDonald, A Coulibaly, Cornick, Whitfield, Stockley, Butcher, Quigley, Lee, O’Flaherty, Rinne.
