CHERRIES frontman Callum Wilson tonight made his England under-21 debut in the 3-2 friendly defeat to France.
The 22-year-old, who has 11 goals to his name this season, came on as a 66th-minute substitute for Tottenham's Harry Kane.
The score was locked at 2-2 in Brest when Wilson entered the fray and within minutes he teed up Tom Ince, only for the Hull City man to fire wide.
France then took the lead for the first time through Kingsley Coman and the hosts held on for victory in Brest.
Kane had put England 2-0 up in the first half with back-to-back efforts but a Yaya Sanogo double made it 2-2 heading into the break.
