AMBITIOUS Junior Stanislas is desperate to add goals to his game as he bids to build on a positive start to life in a Cherries shirt.

Stanislas has enjoyed a largely fruitful opening to the Championship campaign but admitted he was keen to find the net more often.

The 24-year-old, who joined on a free transfer from Burnley in June, bagged his only Cherries goal to date in the 1-0 win over Brentford on August 16.

Stanislas turned in a Ryan Fraser cross to give Eddie Howe’s men victory at Dean Court that day, but he has not registered since.

The former West Ham youngster told the Daily Echo: “I have been relatively happy with the start I’ve had. I know I can do a lot more and I’m sure everyone will see that, particularly in terms of goals.

“I would like to score a lot more goals because I have only got one so far this season and I haven’t scored as many as I should.

“I can definitely build on that but at the same time I can’t get too greedy.

“It’s a personal thing, although I’m sure the manager would like more goals from me as he would like more goals from everyone.”

He added: “I’ve worked with Eddie before and my team-mates have been very welcoming.

“In terms of the way we play, I always pride myself on playing nice football, so it hasn’t been too difficult to settle in.”
