BOSS Steve Cuss has urged new signing Jack Lupton to seize his opportunity while Wimborne Town recover from their injury woes.
Untried midfielder Lupton has recently returned to the area having previously studied at Bournemouth University where he played varsity football under Cuss.
Magpies are without the services of Patrick Wilson for the foreseeable future, while James Stokoe is battling to be fit for Saturday’s home match with Tiverton Town (3pm).
Jon Blake and Jamie Davidson have only recently returned to the line-up and Cuss hopes Lupton can stake a claim despite his lack of Southern League experience.
Cuss told the Daily Echo: “Jack played as an over-aged player for our under-21 side this week and did well so we hope to see him challenge for a first-team place.
“Being able to boost the numbers will be a big help, particularly in the coming weeks.
“He’s a promising young player who fits in well.”

In Division One, New Milton entertain Team Solent, while Ringwood Town journey to Tadley Calleva (all 3pm).
