ASSISTANT boss Jason Tindall believes Cherries are continuing to earn respect from their Championship rivals.

The Dean Court side recorded their highest second-tier finish of 10th last term following promotion from League One.

And two league wins out of three at the start of this term has placed Cherries fifth in the embryonic Championship table.

Tindall told the Daily Echo: “I think at the start of last year a lot of teams saw us as more of a League One side.

“You earn respect by good performances and good results and as the season went on, we got better. Teams saw that and became more aware of us.

“Teams are now probably now looking at us as a good Championship team rather than one that was promoted from League One not so long ago.

“But every game is tough and the second you get carried away is when you will come unstuck.

“We know we’ve got to work hard every single day and put all our efforts into every game, and if we do that we feel we’re capable of beating any team.”
