MANAGER Graham Kemp is confident Hamworthy United can take three points from tomorrow’s tough trip to Bemerton – provided they can match Saturday’s exacting standards.
Hammers head to Wiltshire in search of their first win of the season having bounced back from two defeats with a 1-1 draw against hot title-favourites Winchester City at the weekend.
A slow start was not in the script for Kemp’s men after finishing last season with a flourish but having been buoyed by United’s latest result, the County Ground boss has high hopes.
Kemp told the Daily Echo: “Not many people gave us a chance against Winchester but our performance was much better.
“With the players we have, I would expect us to get something from Bemerton. We should do as long as we play to our capabilities.”
Summer signing Chris Dillon remains sidelined for Hammers.
