MANAGER Adie Arnold admits he is braced for a turbulent start to life at Christchurch but insists: “We will get it right.”

Arnold watched on in disbelief as a meek display saw Priory dismantled 4-0 by his former club Verwood in his first competitive match in charge on Friday.

The task gets no easier with big-spending Blackfield & Langley visiting Hurn Bridge tomorrow (7.45pm) with the new boss accepting that Christchurch’s campaign may be a slow burner.

Arnold told the Daily Echo: “It’s going take time to get the club right, not just on the football side but with things like discipline. We’re suffering now because we’re carrying over suspensions from last season.

“The hardest part for us will be getting the side to gel. Waiting for a couple of senior players to come back doesn’t help and we have to accept it will take a few weeks to settle down but we will get it right.

"Blackfield are one of the title favourites and the main thing we want to do is to improve our performance levels from Friday and at least grab a foothold in the game.”
