BOURNEMOUTH'S Geva Mentor remains on course for the Commonwealth Games netball semi-finals after England thrashed Trinidad & Tobago this morning.

The former St Peter's School pupil played her part in the 70-24 hammering of the Caribbean nation at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre Precinct.

Mentor, who plies her trade with reigning trans-Tasman champions Melbourne Vixens, is set to feature against minnows Barbados tomorrow (7pm) in England's final Group B game.

South Africa and Wales, England's closest rivals for the second qualifying spot, meet this evening.

Anna Mayes' troops held a two-point advantage over the two nations at the time of writing.
