GEORGIA Hall showed she could live with the top performers in women’s golf with a tied-33rd finish at the European Masters today.

The 18-year-old, who plans to turn pro at the end of the year, was not intimidated by a classy field as she further added to her growing reputation at Buckinghamshire Golf Club.

As an amateur, Hall was unable to collect any prizemoney for her performance but the Parkstone player will nonetheless have been content to build on her impressive display for Great Britain and Ireland in last month’s Curtis Cup.

One-over heading into the weekend, the Dorset ace enjoyed her best round of the tournament on Saturday, a two-under-par 70.

Today’s closing 18 proved more testing but Hall still carded a highly-respectable two-over, which included a birdie at the 501-yard par-five ninth.

That placed Hall on one-over for the tournament and meant that of the seven amateurs competing, she ranked fourth-best behind Minjee Lee, Su Hyun-Oh and Curtis Cup team-mate Annabel Dimmock.

The event was won by In-Kyung Kim, who finished on 18-under, five shots clear of nearest rival Nikki Campbell.

The South Korean paved the way to victory by equalling the course record of 63 on Saturday.

Northern Ireland’s Stephanie Meadow, who recently turned pro after competing in the Curtis Cup alongside Hall, finished tied-third on 11-under.

Defending champion Karrie Webb, the world number seven, was tied for 20th at the finish.

Meanwhile, Gary Emerson banked 4,340 Euro after finishing tied-17th at the European Senior Tour’s Bad Ragaz Seniors Open today.

The Remedy Oak pro followed up his four-under-par 66 in Switzerland on Saturday with a closing 70.

He finished on four-under overall while Canada’s Rick Gibson ended on 15-under to triumph – six shots clear of his nearest rival.

Ferndown’s Kevin Spurgeon had to be content with six-over and a share of 48th place.
