AFC Bournemouth: Cherries to face Oxford United in final pre-season friendly

CHERRIES will round off their pre-season campaign with a trip to Oxford United on Saturday, August 2 (3pm).

The clash with the League Two outfit at the Kassam Stadium comes less than 24 hours after Cherries host Premier League Swansea City at Dean Court.

The club has now completed its pre-season schedule.

Meanwhile, Eddie Howe’s men have been seeded for the first round of the Capital One Cup. The draw takes place a week today (10am).

CHERRIES PRE-SEASON SCHEDULE

Friday, July 11: FC Copenhagen (a) 6pm BST

Tuesday, July 15: Salisbury City (a) 7.45pm

Saturday, July 19: Dorchester Town (a) 3pm

Friday, July 25: Southampton (h) 7.45pm

Tuesday, July 29: Portsmouth (a) 7.45pm

Friday, August 1: Swansea City (h) 7.30pm

Saturday, August 2: Oxford United (a) 3pm

It all started with Real Madrid and ended with descending to whatever is left of Southampton on the 25th!

Good to be doing our bit for the lower league clubs though, the U's, the Magpies, the Whites and of course not forgetting Poopey.
