LEGEND: The late Malcolm Simmons
FUNERAL arrangements for late Poole Pirates legend Malcolm Simmons have been announced.
The Wimborne Road favourite, affectionately known as ‘Super Simmo’, will be laid to rest at 2.45pm on Friday, June 6 at Medway Crematorium, Robin Hood Lane, Chatham, Kent.
Mourners are invited to Cobtree Manor Golf Club, Maidstone afterwards to share memories.
Pirates will tonight hold a minute’s applause before their Elite League meeting with King’s Lynn Stars in recognition of the rider who represented the club with distinction between 1975 and 1980.
