DORSET’S hopes of progressing in the Unicorns Knockout Trophy suffered a setback when they were soundly beaten by Group One rivals Devon at Sidmouth today.

Set 150 for victory, Devon eased past their target for the loss of just one wicket.

Earlier, Dorset had collapsed from a promising 102 for two to 149 with Josh Lawrence (43) and Lewis McManus (34) sharing a second-wicket stand of 68.

Dorset host Wiltshire at Dean Park next Sunday.
