TEENAGER Jake Carr is following in his father’s footsteps by adding to the family’s proud collection of boxing trophies.
The 14-year-old, son of former British and World Middleweight Champion Cornelius Carr, became the South Western Junior ABA Champion in Devon at the weekend.
Jake, representing Wessex Amateur Boxing Club, beat Flynn Elworthy in the 75kg category.
Bournemouth-based Jake worked hard throughout the three, two minute rounds to secure a unanimous decision by the judges.
