Game over. Great win and hard-earned for Cherries.

4:48pm

Eddie Howe has still only made one sub.

4:48pm

Pitman was down injured temporarily but is now back on his feet.

4:44pm

This is direct stuff now from the hosts.

4:40pm

The Tangerines are throwing caution to the wind.

4:34pm

Cherries look comfortable enough right now, but it's only one goal.

4:33pm

Faris Haroun is on for Chris Basham.

4:25pm

Steven Davies on, Andy Keogh off.

4:22pm

Chris Basham tries an audacious effort from the right flank but it goes out for a Cherries thrown-in on the opposite side. Ouch.

4:19pm

Fraser off, Pugh on.

4:17pm

Osbourne heads off-target.

4:16pm

Fraser wants another penalty. No says ref Gavin Ward.

4:10pm

Cherries take the lead and it’s all Grabban’s own work. The front man breaks into the area and is scythed down by the off-limits Gilks. Grabban picks himself up and slams home the resulting penalty. Gilks guessed correctly but the spot kick was struck crisply into the left corner.

4:08pm

Spot kick for Cherries...

4:04pm

No changes made at half-time.

4:03pm

4:00pm

Not a disaster by any means, that first half, but Cherries are missing a bit of invention in the middle of the park. When Ritchie and Fraser get on the ball, the visitors look dangerous.

3:59pm

Bournemouth Poppies lead Brockenhurst 1-0 in the Wessex League.

3:55pm

3:54pm

Bournemouth rugby are losing 24-15 against Clifton.

3:53pm

Poole are 1-0 down at Burnham, while Wimborne are 1-0 up at North Leigh.

3:50pm

Fraser brought down by David Perkins in prime shooting range. Perkins is rightly booked. Ian Harte's free kick is low and is cleared easily by the hosts.

3:46pm

Dobbie flashes across goal but no one is there to touch it in.

3:39pm

A quiet spell in the game. Not much bite at the moment.

3:35pm

3:33pm

Ritchie and Fraser have switched wings.

3:32pm

Simon Francis survives handball appeals right on the corner of his own area.

3:30pm

Grabban volleys well off-target.

3:28pm

Ritchie has a similar attempt from a more central position. Again Gilks collects.

3:26pm

Lewis Grabban breaks from midfield and tees up Ritchie, who advances several yards before firing a daisy-cutter into the arms of Matt Gilks from around 25 yards.

3:18pm

Andy Halliday volleys well-wide from 20 yards.

3:17pm

Stephen Dobbie stings the palms of keeper Lee Camp from the left corner of the box. It was a nice height but nonetheless he got strong hands to it.

3:12pm

A high boot by Isaiah Osbourne makes contact with the face of Brett Pitman in midfield, but the Cherries man is swiftly back up on his feet. Osbourne avoids a booking.

3:06pm

A low-key opening.

3:02pm

2:56pm

Blackpool full-backs Jack Robinson and Tony McMahon are suspended this afternoon. Will be interesting to see if Matt Ritchie and Ryan Fraser get some joy.

2:52pm

There's a smattering of Cherries fans up here at Bloomfield Road. Presumably a few of them are making a weekend of it.

2:45pm

Today is Pitman's first start for Cherries since January 14, the 4-1 FA Cup win over Burton.

2:39pm

2:32pm

There's some bad news injury-wise. Yann Kermorgant and Harry Arter, who between them scored all of Cherries’ five goals in the 5-0 win over Doncaster, are both sidelined. Into the starting line-up come Eunan O’Kane and Brett Pitman with Richard Hughes and Shaun MacDonald promoted to the bench.

11:21am

Good afternoon from Bloomfield Road, where Cherries are up against struggling Blackpool.
