  • Reporting by NED PAYNE

4:55pm

Game over. That was a great performance from Cherries. Deserved three points after getting small change these last few weeks.

4:53pm

Wimborne lost 1-0 at Mangotsfield.

4:53pm

A golden opportunity for 6-0. Pugh breaks free down the right and lays a perfect ball inside to fellow sub Rantie. The goal is gaping but the Cherries’ record signing skies his effort. He would have expected to tuck that one away.

4:48pm

Bournemouth rugby take a bonus point from their game at Bishops Stortford following a thrilling 33-28 victory.

4:47pm

Rantie tees up Ritchie who lashes off-target. Moments later, Rantie screws across goal when well-placed.

4:46pm

Donny fail to clear and Harry Arter is there to crash into the net with Johnstone off-limits, His second of the afternoon. It's official, this is a rout.

4:40pm

Keegan's weak header is saved by Camp, who has been a spectator pretty much all afternoon.

4:38pm

Theo Robinson has Donny's first shot on target. Moments later Kermorgant is replaced by Rantie. Marc Pugh comes on for Fraser.

4:37pm

Cherries have a fourth and it’s not a surprise. Francis, who already has one assist, sends in another glorious cross from the right flank and Kermorgant rises superbly to head beyond Johnstone and into the right corner. A hat-trick for the striker. Fantastic display from him today,

4:30pm

Khumalo booked.

4:29pm

Bournemouth rugby now 28-26 down at Bishops Stortford. A thriller developing.

4:26pm

4:25pm

Ritchie’s fizzing delivery across goal is a fraction too far ahead of Grabban, who can only poke high and wide.

4:24pm

Bournemouth rugby now just 26-19 down at Bishops Stortford.

4:21pm

Gabriel Tamas booked.

4:19pm

Francis takes a whack in the face but is swiftly back on his feet.

4:18pm

Bournemouth rugby 21-12 down at Bishops Stortford.

4:16pm

4:15pm

Grabban streaks just out of reach of Meite but fires wide of the left post. The home fans thought it was in.

4:12pm

That’s 3-0 and game over, surely. The ball pinballs around on the edge of the area and eventually breaks to Arter 20 yards out. He swings his left boot and catches it as sweet as you like on the half-volley, straight into the bottom right corner. Fantastic strike.

4:05pm

We have resumed.

4:04pm

Double change for Donny at half-time. Off go Jordan Bowery and Dean Furman and on come Theo Robinson and David Cotterill.

4:01pm

I'd imagine the message from Eddie Howe at half-time to his Cherries players would be, 'same again'. That was a really good first half. Plenty of pace and penetration. Kermorgant will take the plaudits given his brace but Fraser was excellent.

3:59pm

Other half-times - Mangotsfield 1 Wimborne 0, Sholing 0 Hamworthy 0,

3:57pm

3:56pm

Let's have a pic or two from Dean Court instead, courtesy of Echo snapper Jon Beal...

3:54pm

I'm afraid one or two technical problems are preventing me from providing you with other non-league updates.

3:52pm

Wimborne are 1-0 down at Mangotsfield at half-time.

3:51pm

Grabban tested Johnstone from a tight angle moments before the break. The keeper blocked.

3:50pm

That was 45 excellent minutes from Cherries.

3:48pm

Matt Ritchie dances down the right side and after his attempted cross is blocked, Simon Francis sends in a lovely delivery. Kermorgant rises high above his marker to nod past Johnstone and into the roof of the net. A brace for the Frenchman. Cherries are good value for their 2-0 lead.

3:41pm

Harte’s cross into the boss is knocked back across by Fraser and Grabban heads past Johnstone, but once again the striker is thwarted by the linesman’s flag. All Cherries at the moment.

3:38pm

Neglected to mention earlier that Paul Keegan is in the book for a trip on Fraser.

3:36pm

Big shouts for a penalty after Surman goes down under an Abdoulaye Meite tackle, but referee Darren Sheldrake is unmoved.

3:33pm

Cherries take a lead they absolutely deserve. Harte sends in a pinpoint delivery from the left and Kermorgant takes it first time, sending it through the legs of Sam Johnstone. What a great way to mark his home debut.

3:31pm

Harte’s free kick from deep is nodded back across goal by Kermorgant and Ritchie’s piledriver takes a nick off Chris Brown and goes wide.

3:25pm

From Surman's through-ball, Fraser breaks clean through on goal and looks to have the legs on Bongani Khumalo, but the Rovers man gets back to make a terrific challenge.

From the resulting corner, Arter lays into the path of Surman and his stinging shot is tipped over by Johnstone. Then, Ian Harte’s low corner from the opposite side is left by Arter and Kermorgant fires wide.

3:19pm

Johnstone comes out of his area to slice into the stand. Moments later the lively Fraser breaks through a challenge on the left side of the box and stings the palms of the Donny stopper. Corner. Good start Cherries.

3:17pm

Donny look like they are playing a 4-4-1-1 to me, not a 4-3-3 as we were told pre-match.

3:13pm

Lewis Grabban caught offside in the box after a swift break by Cherries which involved Matt Ritchie and Harry Arter. Nice pass by Arter, but Grabban had drifted. Looked the right decision.

3:12pm

Bournemouth rugby are level at 7-7 with Bishops Stortford.

3:09pm

Great work by Fraser down the left. It actually looked like he took the ball over the dead-ball line but nothing was given and the Scot’s cross was headed straight at keeper Sam Johnstone by Kermorgant from close range.

3:06pm

Kermorgant takes an early clattering but is up and OK.

3:01pm

We are under way.

2:58pm

The players are out.

2:58pm

Kick-off minutes away.

2:54pm

The last time Cherries won at home on a Saturday? Saturday, October 5. A 5-2 victory over Millwall. Ah well, they do say that good things come to those who wait.

shame TK isn't starting I fancied him today to score, but it will be good to see what Yann can do from the starting 11

Quite fancy TK to get on at some stage.

2:46pm

2:42pm

I will endeavour to keep you up to date with the non-league latest throughout the afternoon, as well as the Bournemouth RFC score at Bishops Stortford.

2:41pm

In non-league, Poole versus Stourbridge in the Southern League Premier Division is off.

2:41pm

Cherries are going after only their second league win of 2014 this afternoon, with their only previous Championship triumph this year coming when they beat Huddersfield 2-1 at home on January 28.

2:39pm

The players are out warming up on a sunny but fairly chilly day at Dean Court.

2:37pm

Cherries have received an apology from the Football League regarding referee Mark Heywood's decision to penalise Tommy Elphick for a foul late on in the 1-0 defeat at Derby last Saturday. Chris Martin converted the resulting free kick to win the game for the Rams in the 85th minute.

2:34pm

2:32pm

2:30pm

So, team news. Yann Kermorgant makes his first start for Cherries up front at the expense of Tokelo Rantie, who drops to the bench. Midfielder Eunan O’Kane, who returned to training on Friday following a pelvis injury, is deemed only fit enough to make the substitutes. Eddie Howe is still without defenders Elliott Ward (knee) and Charlie Daniels (thigh). Wide man Marc Pugh drops out in favour of Ryan Fraser.

2:30pm

Good afternoon and welcome to Dean Court, where Cherries take on a Doncaster side battling against the drop from the Championship.

i'm confident we'll win today because we've played well recently, but Donnies are a good team, with a few excellent players, Billy Sharp is a danger man with a point to prove. I think it will be a dirty game because they know we'll play them off the pitch unless they try and bully us, and remember them being bad losers at their ground. I predict a high scoring 3-2 win for Bournemouth
