TWO-time national champions Broadstone Middle School will represent Cherries at Wembley.

The under-13 team won all three of their matches at the Football League Girls Cup southern area finals to book their dream date.

Ella Wright and Charley-Rae Everett were on target in the 2-0 win over Cheltenham, while Molly Pike netted the only goal of the game against Gillingham.

Wright added two more goals to her tally in the 3-0 triumph over Watford with Aimee-Rose Collier also scoring.

Broadstone meet northern area winners Shrewsbury at the home of English football ahead of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy final on March 30.

The Dorset team have previously won the ESFA (English Schools Football Association) national competitions at Year 7 and Year 6 levels.

Head of the AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust Steve Cuss was delighted to watch the girls’ progress over the course of the cup campaign.

“It will be a great experience for them to play at Wembley and we are looking forward to seeing them play in front of tens of thousands of fans,” said Cuss.
