CHERRIES utility man Joe Partington has had his loan spell with Conference club Aldershot Town extended until the end of the season.
The 23-year-old has played the full 90 minutes in each of the Shots’ six matches in all competitions after joining Andy Scott’s men at the start of the calendar year.
Despite featuring in the first 13 games of Cherries' promotion campaign last season, Partington was used sparingly following Eddie Howe’s return in October 2012.
His initial deal had been due to expire at midnight tomorrow.
Meanwhile, experienced goalkeeper Shwan Jalal seems set to stay at Dean Court for the time being.
His proposed loan move to League One Bradford City looks to have fallen through despite impressing on trial with the Bantams in December.
