CHERRIES are understood to be closing in on the signing of Charlton Athletic striker Yann Kermorgant.

Sources close to the Echo suggest the Dean Court club has had a bid in the region of £400,000 accepted by the Addicks and that Kermorgant is on his way to Dorset to discuss personal terms.

Earlier this week, Cherries boss Eddie Howe politely declined to comment on rumours linking Cherries with the 32-year-old Frenchman.

Meanwhile, reports from the South London Press have today linked Charlton's Welsh left-back Rhoys Wiggins with a return to Dean Court.

Wiggins had two spells with Cherries before making the the move permanent in the summer of 2010.

However, on the back of several player departures Wiggins angered the club's supporters by making public his desire to leave less than 12 months later and subsequently joined the Addicks in June 2011.
