AFC Bournemouth: Record signing Tokelo Rantie granted work permit
CHERRIES’ big-money record signing Tokelo Rantie has been granted a work permit to ply his trade at Dean Court.
The South African international, who penned a four-year deal with Cherries on Wednesday, was given the green light by FA chiefs.
Assistant boss Tindall told the Daily Echo: “The player needs to complete some paperwork and will be available to play in our next home game.”
Rantie, who joined Cherries in a high-profile switch from Malmo, has been capped 12 times by South Africa.
He is currently in Sweden and will link up with Bafana Bafana next week after being named in their squad for a World Cup qualifier against Botswana in Durban a week today.
The frontman is still awaiting international clearance but is expected to make his Cherries debut in the home clash with Blackpool on Saturday, September 14.
