CHRISTCHURCH stalwart David Barton has won the Dorset Seniors Championship with a one-over-par total at centenary club Highcliffe.
Barton carded rounds of 64 and 65 to finish four shots ahead of the county’s seniors captain David Lock, of Lyme Regis.
Lock, however, won the handicap silverware, while Canford School’s Paul Cooper won the 55 to 59-year-old cup.
Among the other scratch title winners were Graham Taylor (Knighton Heath, over-70s) and Campbell Boal (Broadstone, 60 to 64-year-olds).
