Well put Karl... Are you able to read Mitchell??? SOUL, you've ripped the heart out of the club. I'll not stop going when ever I can, I'd always support the team, but stuff the rest. Mitchell, you can keep your programmes, your food/drink, and with the exception of a shirt and seasons video I'll not be buying anything else in the shop. I realise the little I'd spend there anyway won't ever be missed, but it's the only way I can protest at this dreadful decision, because Mick IS and always has been a supporter and as supporters we've lost one of our own from within the club. So for ME, it has ripped out the heart of the club. "Our" club, now is no more and if that's what getting into the Championship is all about, quite frankly I'd sooner have Mick back and stay in Div1. I'm absolutely disgusted, I'd drawn a line under all that Mitchell had done previously, but I won't ever forgive Mitchell for this!!! UTCIMD

I am pleased to see mention of the fact that many a time Mick Cunningham worked without pay for the club; I can testify to this fact. Am also very touched to see the genuine comments about Mick. He does have a heart of gold and often to his detriment.

I hate the money in the game. What I loved about Bournemouth was the 'soul' of the place and I learned about that through Mick. That is what football should be about; it shouldn't be a business without a soul but full of passion from all involved.

Very well said. I went to school with Mick Cunningham and he's been an AFCB fanatic since he was a kid. He deserved far better, especially when you consider the number of Mitchell family members drawing salaries from the club.

Still, as long as Tom can carry on playing Football Manager 2013, that's OK then Eddie?

move into the 21st century i have been made redundant 3 times in last 6years , the club is a business mitchell has to make these decisions s##t happens you are completely over reacting

Not sure if Mr Mitchell should be the target here? Russians are well known for their purges/pogroms.At least there has been no loss of life......yet!

As the article doesn't point out, perhaps he was happy to receive the redundancy. Anyone considered that?

As for the comment about rather he stayed than AFCB go up then that's just pathetic, you're clearly not a fan.

As a former player in the notthe8502 footy team, am extremely sad to hear this news, best of luck to Mick, in the future, don't understand the politics in this decision at all.
